My research focuses on ostracism (social exclusion), which is ignoring and excluding a person or group by another person or a group. I am particularly interested in using Virtual Reality as the vehicle to explore the minimal conditions necessary to detect ostracism. I am also investigating rejection amongst marginalized groups such as homosexuals and people with HIV. |
